Under the Nepal Mask Campaign, Female Health Community Volunteer (FCHVs) orientation was conducted at six different wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) – Sorakhutte - 16, Tahachal - 13, Lainchaur - 26, Teku - 12, Dillibazar – 29. The major objective of this orientation is to guide the FCHVs on promotion of wearing mask and delivering a strong message on wearing mask to community people. Collectively, 115 FCHVs were oriented on proper use of mask and techniques in mobilization at community.
“Even the COVID 19 cases have been reduced to extend, it has not been eliminated. To protect us from community from new variant, and reduce the spread the infection and community, the mask is important. I have understood this fact after attending this orientation, and I will pass this message to my community during our household visit,” said Ms. Hem Lata Shrestha, Tahachal -13.
